The studio won the award, and the award for Best Church Renovation (1-800 seats) for their redevelopment of the Hanger 61 creating on the grounds of the former Stapleton Airport in Denver, CO.

Stapleton Fellowship Church bought the creating in 2010 and worked with Visioneering to repurpose, renovate and redesign the historic structure for any fresh lifetime. The Hangar, first built to hold turbo-prop airliners, today homes areas for worship, study, and classes for each age group. The Lift is really a 3500 sf. worship center with an overlook Sky Lounge. The Terminal lounge, welcome area, and java bar offers original sliding hangar doors with floor to ceiling glass walls which today enclose the room. It was an honor and a privilege to work with this church that serves thousands of families in Stapleton, a two-square-mile community without other churches.
